Arab Mare & Foal Acrylics on board - approx A1 - horse portraits - Usually I work ion a commission basis but I did this painting just because I wanted to after seeing these two running about a field. Black is rare in Arabians and I thought the mare was beautiful.
Grey Horse acrylics on board - approx A4 - horse portrait - Grey horses are difficult to paint - you can't rely on a gleaming shiny coat to give the painting interest but I think the contrast between light and shade and the head position make this one work well.
